Senior Vice President of West Energy Capital
A 34-year member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, William Kelleher was recently hired as senior vice president of West Energy Capital, following a three-year tenure as CEO of Addison Resources, where he led a team of new business development professionals and facilitated actions that led to the discovery of 10.7 million barrels of oil from reserves with a net present value of $117 million. Prior to establishing Addison Resources, William Kelleher held positions such as chairman and CEO of New World Oil and Gas, cofounder and director of Bramlin Limited, cofounder and managing director of Victoria Oil and Gas, and executive vice president of YUKOS Oil Corp.
William Kelleher has extensive experience working in foreign markets, including Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Since 1992, when he was a regional operations manager with Washington Energy Resources, Mr. Kelleher has generated more than $2 billion in net present value and put beyond $500 million in equity to regularly award management and shareholders a 5:1 profit ratio. Prior to 1992, he held positions such as senior drilling engineer for Amoco Norway and MMS certified well control instructor for Chevron USA. He began his career in 1980 as a field engineer with NL Petroleum Services.
